One Horizon for Slack
Bring your team's work progress into your communication flow. One Horizon for Slack sends concise team recaps, standup summaries, and work updates directly to your channels so everyone stays aligned without switching tools.
Installation
Installing One Horizon for Slack is simple. Just hit the button below to install the integration.
Install on Slack
This will open a browser window asking you to authorize One Horizon to access your workspace.
Integration permissions can be managed by workspace admins. Contact your admin if you don't see the option to connect.
Managing the Installation
If you wish to uninstall the integration, just click the Uninstall button in the integration settings of your workspace.
The @one bot
After connecting, the @one bot becomes available in your workspace. You can invite anyone to your One Horizon team directly through messaging, and team members can interact with their work data without leaving the conversation.
Standup notifications and summaries
Configure standup times in your team settings (requires active integration). The bot sends two types of notifications:
30 minutes before standup
A recap of work completed since your last standup meeting, helping you prepare for the discussion.
2 minutes before standup
A reminder notification to the configured channel that standup is starting.
Task management in direct messages
Team members can manage their work through direct messages with @one:
“what did I work on today?”
The bot returns your completed tasks and recent activity.
“when is the next standup?”
Shares the next standup date and time.
“I've completed my work on the website”
You can also add, edit, and delete tasks directly through the bot conversation, keeping your work log current without switching tools.
Discuss tasks offline
From any task or issue in the One Horizon dashboard, click the More menu and select Discuss offline. This starts a bot workflow that organizes an offline discussion thread, perfect for async collaboration on specific work items.
Troubleshooting
If channels aren't receiving updates, check that the integration is still authorized and that One Horizon has permission to post to your selected channels.
Workspace admins can manage integration permissions in your workspace settings.
