Email Notifications

Email notifications carry work updates outside Slack: standup reminders, standup summaries, team recaps, and scheduled work summaries.

Configuration

Email notifications are enabled or disabled in your notification settings. There is no separate installation.

If Slack and email are both enabled, the same notification type can go through both channels.

What you'll receive

When email notifications are enabled, you can receive the same operational updates that would normally be sent to Slack.

Standup notifications

If your team has configured standup times, you'll receive email notifications:

30 minutes before standup

A recap of work completed since the last standup so participants can prepare before the meeting.

2 minutes before standup

A short reminder that the standup is starting.

Team updates

Regular team recaps and work summaries can be delivered to email so people can review progress and blockers without opening the dashboard.

Managing notifications

Notifications controls which update types are sent by email.

Work Inbox

Collect comments, mentions, and workflow review requests that need a response in one inbox.

Notifications

Route standup prompts, reports, email, Slack messages, and webhook events through the right channels.
