Email Notifications
Stay updated on your team's work progress through email notifications. One Horizon sends the same notifications via email as it does through Slack - perfect if you don't use Slack or want updates delivered directly to your inbox.
Configuration
Email notifications are enabled or disabled in your notification settings. There's no separate installation required - just toggle the email notifications on or off.
If you have both Slack and Email notifications enabled, you'll receive notifications through both channels.
What you'll receive
When you enable email notifications, you'll get the same messages that would normally be sent to Slack:
Standup notifications
If your team has configured standup times, you'll receive email notifications:
30 minutes before standup
A recap of work completed since your last standup meeting, helping you prepare for the discussion.
2 minutes before standup
A reminder notification that standup is starting.
Team updates
Regular team recaps and work summaries are delivered to your email, keeping you informed about your team's progress and any blockers.
Managing notifications
You can control your email notification preferences in your user settings. Toggle email notifications on or off, or adjust which types of updates you want to receive via email.
