ChatGPT
Connect ChatGPT to One Horizon in Developer Mode. ChatGPT can use assigned issues, recent work, and workspace context to answer team questions, draft reports, surface blockers, and help plan work.
If you want to send implementation work straight into Codex from a work record, use the Codex integration.
Requires ChatGPT Plus or higher with Developer Mode enabled. Learn how to enable Developer Mode.
What is Developer Mode?
Developer Mode is a beta ChatGPT feature with Model Context Protocol (MCP) client support, including write actions. It lets ChatGPT interact with workspace data like Claude or Cursor.
Connecting
Step 1: Enable Developer Mode
- Open ChatGPT Settings in your browser.
- Go to Apps → Advanced Settings.
- Turn on Developer Mode.
Developer Mode is currently only available in the browser version of ChatGPT, not in the mobile or desktop apps.
Step 2: Add One Horizon App
- In ChatGPT Settings, go to Apps.
- Choose Create App.
Enter the configuration:
Name: One Horizon
MCP Endpoint:
https://mcp.onehorizon.ai/mcpAuthentication: OAuth. No client ID or secret required.
Step 3: Authenticate
When you first use the tools in a chat, ChatGPT will prompt you to authenticate. A browser window will open asking you to log in and authorize the connection.
After authentication, ChatGPT shows the app and the actions it can perform.
Review the available actions after authentication.
Developer Mode Limitations:
- Only works in regular chats, not Project chats
- Does not work in Deep Research mode
- First tool call may take longer to load
