Scheduled Reports

Use scheduled reports to deliver recurring progress summaries from current team work.

What reports summarize

A scheduled report summarizes what the team shipped during the period: completed tasks, initiative progress, and work by type. Reports can be delivered to Slack or by email.

Use scheduled reports for recurring communication that should not depend on someone remembering to generate it manually: weekly team summaries, monthly progress notes, or periodic stakeholder updates.

Configuration

Team admins configure:

SettingWhat it controls
FrequencyDaily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, or yearly.
Day and timeWhen the report is sent.
Week startHow weekly periods are calculated.
Quarter startHow quarterly reporting periods align with the team.

Reports run automatically once configured.

Keep report recipients tied to the audience. A team Slack channel needs operational detail; an email report for executives should emphasize roadmap progress, risks, and decisions.

For delivery channels and routing, configure Notifications and the relevant team connection. For narrative updates, see Stakeholder Updates.
