Google Meet

Use Google Meet when a live standup needs to stay connected to recaps and meeting context.

Meet add-on

The Google Workspace Add-on runs inside Google Meet. During a meeting, participants can open the workspace in the side panel or main stage.

Both views show the same recap for each participant, letting the team run a standup directly inside the call instead of switching apps.

Install One Horizon from Google Workspace Marketplace, authorize access, and test it in a meeting before depending on it for a team ritual.

What it uses

Google Meet setup depends on Google Workspace access and the Google Calendar context attached to the standup or meeting. Calendar data can include event titles, descriptions, start and end times, and attendees when relevant to team context.

We use meeting metadata and attendee context. Meeting recordings are not needed for the standup experience.

Google Meet standups depend on the same setup described in Standups and Google Calendar.
