Recaps
Use recaps to review recent completed, planned, and blocked work. Daily recap is personal: it starts with the work tied to you, including pull requests that need attention.
Automatic work capture
Connected-tool activity becomes work updates instead of raw noise. Commits, pull requests, issues, and calendar events can attach to matching initiatives or bugs when the context is clear, then roll up into completed tasks.
If the match is wrong or missing, open the task and change the linked initiative or bug. Recaps are most useful when captured activity is connected back to the work it moved forward.
Recap columns
Daily recap answers the personal standup questions first.
| Column | What it contains | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Worked on | Completed tasks from connected apps, agent work, finished initiatives or bugs, and manual entries. | Shows what will be reported as done. |
| Planned | Initiatives, bugs or synced issues assigned to you, pull requests you opened, are assigned to, or need to review, calendar events, and todos. | Shows what is on your plate now. |
| Blockers | Blocked initiatives, bugs, synced issues, pull requests, or todos. | Shows what needs help, a decision, or missing input. |
Related activity can attach to matching initiatives, bugs, or completed tasks when the context is clear.
Recap actions
Create work from any recap column. Worked on creates completed tasks; Planned and Blockers create work with the matching status.
In Worked on, you can add completed work and set the completion date. In Planned, new work starts planned. In Blockers, new work starts blocked.
Snooze todos to hide them from Planned and Blockers for 1 day, 3 days, 1 week, or 1 month without changing what teammates see. The todo stays visible in Backlog and search, then reappears automatically when the snooze expires. Snoozing is personal and syncs across your open tabs.
Use the detail panel to inspect, edit, or comment on work without leaving the recap. Use the reload control when you want to refresh a column on demand.
If a new initiative needs more than a title, use Writer Mode to turn rough context into a working brief before it moves into planning.
Todos, issues, and visibility
A todo is simple personal work created manually before or during execution. An issue is a synced item from a connected app such as Jira, Linear, GitHub, or GitLab.
You can set todos to private when the work should not appear to teammates. Synced issues do not use the same privacy toggle because teammates may already have access to the source issue in the connected tool.
For the full todo record and delivery actions, see Todos. For unresolved work that needs planning, use Backlog and Blockers.
Frequently asked questions
Snoozing is personal and temporary. It hides a todo from your recap without changing the source work.
