Team Members

Team members are the people who collaborate within a specific team. Each member has a role that determines their permissions and capabilities.

Roles & Permissions

Team Admin Role Permissions

  • Create and delete the team
  • Invite team members or revoke invites
  • Remove team members
  • Promote team members to the admin role
  • Configure team settings (name, icon, Slack channel, standups)

Team Member Role Permissions

  • View team data and insights
  • Participate in standups

Inviting Team Members

  1. Navigate to your team's settings
  2. Click the "Invite Member" button
  3. Enter the name or slack handle from workspace members
  4. Send the invitation

Once they accept the invite, they have the member role by default. You can update their role once they have joined through the menu in the list of members.

Managing Invitations

  • Pending invitations can be revoked at any time
  • Revoked members lose access to the team immediately but their data remains

Workspace Integration

When you invite someone to a team, they'll also be invited to the workspace if they're not already a member. This ensures seamless collaboration across your organization. This means a team member is always a workspace member, but a workspace member does not always have to be a team member.
