Comments

Comments keep discussion attached to the initiative, bug, todo, or pull request people will inspect later.

Comment behavior

Comments support threaded replies, so follow-up discussion stays grouped under the original comment. People can react with emoji to acknowledge updates and keep the thread lightweight. If a parent comment is deleted after replies exist, the message text is removed but the thread remains visible.

Work tables show a comment count when comments exist. Selecting the indicator opens the comment thread directly.

Each comment can show where it came from, such as dashboard, MCP, or API gateway. The source is set when the comment is created and does not change when the comment is edited.

Mentions and task links

Type @ in a comment or description to mention a person or link an initiative. Selecting an initiative inserts a clickable chip that opens its detail panel.

Paste a One Horizon work URL into a comment, issue description, or pull request detail and it renders as an inline chip with the title and status.

When a conversation needs the team channel, move it into Slack Discussions and keep the work link attached.
