Ongoing Work

Ongoing work keeps recurring tasks visible without recreating the same initiative every cycle.

Ongoing work

When ongoing work fits

Ongoing work fits tasks that repeat or continue across cycles: recurring security audits, documentation improvements, content publishing, social media publishing, design QA, customer support review, or shared maintenance.

This is especially useful for multidisciplinary teams where product, engineering, design, marketing, support, and operations contribute to the same stream over time. Create an Initiative for work with a defined outcome and finish line; keep the stream as ongoing work when it needs owners, status, children, and reporting over time.

How it appears

Ongoing work lives alongside initiatives on the roadmap. You can view initiatives only, ongoing work only, or both together. It can carry teams, assignees, status, hierarchy, and taxonomy like other roadmap work.

You can convert between initiative and ongoing work when the shape of the record changes.

Roadmap Progress can review ongoing work beside planned initiatives.

Initiatives & Bugs

Use initiatives for planned work and bugs for defects or incidents before work moves into planning or delivery.

Taxonomy

Taxonomy connects initiatives, bugs, and activity to the goals, customers, products, and areas they affect.

Triage

Triage turns incoming bugs and feature requests into a decision: accept, decline, assign a reviewer, or add context.

API Keys

Create and manage workspace-scoped API keys for backend services, CI, and trusted automation.
