GitLab, clearer workflow recovery, and My Work
Highlights:
- GitLab support for connected repositories and merge requests
- Continue, retry, and skip actions on workflow steps
- Artifacts shown with the workflow step that created them
- My Work opens on the Board by default
This week adds GitLab to One Horizon and makes active work easier to understand and recover. Workflow results now stay closer to the step that produced them, while My Work opens on the view used to plan and delegate work.
GitLab support
You can connect a personal GitLab account and use GitLab repositories and merge requests with One Horizon workflows. The integration follows the same core flow as GitHub, from choosing source code through opening the resulting merge request.
Workflow results and recovery in context
Workflow run steps now show the documents, work items, commits, and pull requests they produced. When a step stalls or fails, the available Continue, Retry, and Skip step actions appear on that step and in the Work Inbox, so you can recover without searching through separate screens.
Review notifications also link to the document or research artifact waiting for attention. If a workflow finishes but cannot create a pull request, the person who started it receives a clear notification.
My Work starts with the board
The former Recap area is now My Work, with Board, Recap, and Journal as its main views. Board is the default, while Recap remains available when you want to share an update.

- Research artifacts appear in workflow run results
Fixes
- Writer mode treats draft content as material to revise instead of instructions to execute
- Mermaid diagrams render more reliably in the rich text editor
- Parallel workflow writes no longer cause valid Plan documents to fail finalization
- Document linking shows documents without mixing in workflow artifacts
- Hidden team preferences are preserved through the public settings API
